"TEAM EJ" PAVES THE WAY FOR ECONOMIC
EXPANSION IN EAST JORDAN

"Team EJ" is a unique partnership comprised of key officials of the City of East Jordan, the East Jordan Economic Developement Office, the East Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Development Authority, the Public Schools and the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance (a regional economic development agency) which works together to take necessary action to assure that the local economy continues to grow.

"Team EJ" works to facilitate development projects and thinks "out of the box" in utilizing new techniques and combinations of resources to make things happen. The Main Street Center, completed in 2003, is a prime example of pulling together resources from the local and state governments and the private sector into an award-winning historical rejuventation of two century old structures which otherwise would have been demolished.

"Team EJ" works with would be entrepreneurs who wish to start their own business. Retail operators, small businesses, and medical and other professions find assistance from the team, a major assist in starting and growing their business.

"Team EJ" paves the way for industries looking for expanded facilities in East Jordan's Class A Industrial Park (State designation) which includes the local airport or in the Jordan Valley Complex, a multi-tenant business center near the center of town.
